Former Chelsea captain, Paul Elliott, believe that there is time to strike out the West London club from Premier League champions exchanges.


The Blues recently become the talk of England, after they decided to sack Jose Mourinho, six months after the manager to bring the team into the Premier League champions.


Chelsea itself was dropped ranked 16 standings and a separate one point of the relegation zone. However, Elliot believes his former team could still talk a lot this season.


"There is still a lot of games that could be played. And if you see, there are many surprises that happen in the Premier League this year," said Elliott at Omnisport.


"If you look at the four or five big league, all teams can and may be defeated."
